I am a connoisseur of pizza. Have eaten it all over the map, and feel like I have a pretty good taste for what is good/bad/meh. Was curious to RRS' picks for best pizzas, where it is located, etc.
My go to and all time favorite, is Earls 377 in Argyle, TX. I get the Spirit of a Hero (brisket, bbq sauce, cheese, red and yellow peppers). So good.
Last night, I ventured over to Taverna Rossa in Southlake for the first time in a few years, and cheated on Earls. Boy, when I say the Smokey Pie there is good, I mean have you dreaming about in your sleep after eating it. Brisket, bbq sauce, mozz, goat cheese (wife had them add that.. not a huge fan but couldnt even notice it was there), red onions. Thin crust. Whew!
