Here's the deal. I have concrete guys coming tomorrow morning to lay concrete to extend my back porch. They are laying a 32' by 22' slab 4 inches think.
My end goal is then to have a contractor build a 24 wide(porch length next to house) by 20 long (extends out from house) a pergola on top of this.
I called the concrete guy today just to verify he was coming tomorrow then verified that i would be able to have a contractor build a pergola later on top that wouldnt crack the concrete. He said no problem he'll just lay some footers where the posts will go? First off not 100% where the posts will go yet, what should i do or tell him to do?
