OT: Electoral College question

First off, can we please keep this apolitical? No need for this to go EEF.

Anyway, watching the Super Tuesday coverage and they keep talking about how the primaries aren’t winner take all, but they divvy out delegates based on % of vote.

I am curious how that would impact presidential elections. Currently if candidate x wins a state by 3 votes they get all the electoral college votes for that state.

Any political nerds have any apolitical thoughts?
