Basically it's another Marcus Smart situation. Black Duke volleyball player says that BYU fans were dropping N bombs every time she served, and it became a big national ordeal with LeBron, Stephen A, and the other usual suspects about how racism is still alive and well and we all "need to be better". Trouble is, the only person who heard the slurs was this girl. None of her teammates, none of the refs, none of the coaches, and none of the kids in the student section. The entire match was on TV and there's not any evidence that this happened.
Her Godmother, who is running for office in Ft. Worth, also helped to spread the word. Here's a nice sampling of some of her past tweets:
