Would be interested to hear if anyone has anyone cool history in their family.
Mine is my Mom's father christened the Glomar Explorer which had a significant role in the Cold War. For those that don't know this was a CIA ship disguised as a deep sea drilling ship that actually was launched to retrieve a Soviet submarine. He also marched with Dr. King from Selma to Montgomery.
And my Dad's father worked for the CIA in code breaking of some sort. We have no idea of what capacity or what he did but we did get a hand written letter from the director of the CIA when he passed away thanking him for all of his help and service.
So what cool history does your family have?
