OT: Confirmation email required by Rivals

Twice in the last 3 days I've had my posting privileges removed until I click on a button requesting a "confirmation email be sent. Once I receive the email, I click the accept button and I'm back in business. I've been a member for almost 20 years and don't recall doing this in the past. Anybody else having the same issue?
