OT: Catalytic Converter (attempted) Theft

Came home last night from work and found a note on our door from a neighbor. The note said that there were two guys underneath my wife’s car with power tools. So, I went down to check it out, turned the car on, and it was making a horrible sound. I was sure they had stolen the converter, but after I checked out the undercarriage, looks like they broke off a saw blade and botched the attempt. Called the police and filed a complaint, the operator said that it’s happening everywhere right now. So, if you park your car outside in the DFW area, be on the lookout 🙄🤦‍♂️
