Has anyone ever had a transformer on their property that leaked oil?
We have a small transformer in our backyard and about 1 month ago I saw that it appeared to be leaking something. I was out around the transformer this evening and noticed that it definitely appears to be leaking oil and it has killed most of the grass around it. Now that it hasn't rain in a couple of days and things are drying out there is now white stuff in the back.
Question if anyone ever experienced this and what will the electric company do? Do they dig the soil up? Replace any trees that are dying?
I have a pool in the back and dont want them tearing up too much stuff.
