OT: Any Veterinarians on here?

I have a 10 year old yellow lab who has always had a more pink than black nose. I was out of town this week for a few days and came back and noticed a spot that seems a lot pinker than before I left. Her nose is still cold and wet, and I already have an appointment to get it looked at next week, but just wondering if this is 'normal'. Feel like between family and friends, a lot of dogs have passed on lately and with her being 10 years old, I'm not messing around even though she's been perfectly healthy her whole life.
