I live in central Texas and every year around this time the cedar allergies make me want to die. It started up pretty light on Monday so I got some allergy meds and nasal spray and tried to get out in front of it. Today I can't function. My whole face feels like it's going to explode. I'm sneezing, blowing my nose every 3 minutes, I sound like a cartoon villain when I talk.
Currently I'm trying to take 3 or so really hot showers a day to help loosen up the congestion and I do a sinus rinse a few times a day as well. Nothing helps. As soon as I'm cleared up it comes back almost immediately.
Anyone have any suggestions on home remedies? I've been to the dr before, but generally they just prescribe some OTC stuff that doesn't work and I have to go back once it's a full blown infection.
