Hey RRS family, just wanted to drop a note to say my wife and I get to finalize our adoption today.
May 19, 2017 we brought a 3 week old boy home from the NICU that was in a rough situation to foster him for however long we were granted.
October 15, 2018 after a 6 day jury trial parental rights were terminated and the process started to move toward adoption pending the appeals
Monday, October 10, 2022, that process finally wraps up and our legal system recognizes the relational reality that happened a long time ago.
I know many on here have prayed for us at some critical points along the way, so I wanted to share our good news and express my deep appreciation for this community. Thank you all.
