OT: Abilene Dog Needs New Home

This is Rusty. He was owned by an elderly man who can no longer keep him. I am not certain of age. I think he's between 5 and 6. Right now he's been living alone in a backyard for about a month with neighbors visiting to take care of him. But he's getting lonely.

He is sweet to adults, and seems to like kids. He also seems to like my shihtzu. I'm over-protective, and tried to keep them a part, but my dog jumped out into the yard to meet him. They just kissed each other. Heh.

Let me know if you can help or tell me the name of a good rescue/foster service in Abilene.
