I have 4 crepe myrtles through out my front and back yard, and every year this happens. The leaves get something kinda glossy and sticky on them, they slowly turn yellow/orange, die and fall off.
A landscaping guy told me a few year ago it's aphids. So every year I buy some expensive bug/disease spray and it kind of works. Seems like every year it takes more and more applications but once i get it enough it's good til the following summer. I'm sick of it. How do I stop this? I look around my neighborhood and street and feel like I'm the only one dealing with this.
