A great Red Raider, General Charles Brown, was just confirmed in a vote of 98-0 as the new Air Force Chief of Staff. The first ever African American military service chief. Gen. Brown was commissioned in 1984 as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program at Texas Tech University.
