Not going to be super in depth here, typing on my phone, but a few nuggets as we near official visit season

Tech is in the top 3 for Chad Woodfork. The staff has been on him a while and he will OV from June 21-23. The other programs he’s considering are TCU and LSU. He’s already OV’d to TCU, and that is why they have the momentum right now but that can be flipped when he sets foot in Lubbock.

Johnson was initially supposed to visit the weekend of June 7-9, the same time as his QB Lloyd Jones. Johnson will instead be at Texas A&M that weekend but says he will reschedule/still plans on visiting Tech. The other programs to watch are Texas, Arkansas and USC.

Will OV June 7-9. Said he “can’t wait” to get to Lubbock. Others in the mix are Kansas, Illinois, Houston and potentially TCU and Arizona.

OV set for June 14-16. Will also visit Houston and Tulsa. Plans to make his decision around midseason.

OV set for June 7-9. Will also take trips to Minnesota and Arizona. I see him ending up in the Big 12 one way or another.

Will officially visit Texas Tech next weekend, June 7-9. Also has one planned to Washington State.

Probably Tech’s top RB target of the class right now. Will OV June 14-16. Also has trips planned to Utah, BYU, Houston and UTSA. Already visited Oregon State. Decision planned for early August.

Official visit to Texas Tech June 7-9. Also plans to see Utah and Boston College.

Will OV to Texas Tech next weekend, June 7-9. Also has one in the works to Nebraska towards the end of June. Has yet to visit Lubbock but looking forward to his OV.

Tech’s in his top 5. Other schools to watch are Texas, SMU, Oklahoma and Kansas. OV set for next weekend, June 7-9.
