like all I was concerned seeing the final score but after watching the game I thought we played ok on defense and excellent on offense.

I think most of us wanted to see more of Felton and hopefully he has solidified his role. You can still run Stockton but I would feature Felton between the tackles. Poor mans Deandre but he can still develop, good runner.

Penalties are concerning, mostly willies and a couple OL but holtz really got after the refs. Need to work on getting them back down. Holtz is a pretty solid coach. Good track record overall and lots of formations. He's not Tom Herman but he can gameplan you and his teams are tough.

The fact we scored so much shouldn't be over looked. A lot of those La Tech players pass the eye test on both sides of the ball. They have a lot of p5 transfers and the pads were really popping in the second half.

As usual our inside defense is ok not great, pass rush is weak, and our secondary is surprisingly poor. Really hope banks is solid, we need another secondary defender. Johnson seems to have regressed at safety. I think Coleman will develop into a good player.

Really hope Steele is ok but our OL looks like they are improving. A lot of it is Mahomes but he usually has time and they are opening up holes.

This game was really at least a 21 point win, the last TD was garbage though still a bust. Kliff was right he called a dumb play in the second quarter, we should have run there and if we score a TD, the game is completely over and the final score is very impressive. We gave them some momentum but I was impressed with our response when they challenged us in the second half. We came out hot which really put a lot of pressure on them and we are much better playing with a lead.

That was a bowl team we just beat and they should have beat Arkansas. Better win than many think and the defense while not great showed better than the final score indicated. We do need to find a way to generate pressure and I am in favor of blitzing if need be, we need to force more turnovers.

This defense has young players and there is a chance if we don't get injuries that we will steadily improve throughout the year. Brooks is a beast and Hinton is important for us.

I was worried about this game and they were a worthy opponent. Id take some positives from it, fine tune some stuff during the bye, smoke Kansas and hopefully out score some people during conference.
