Surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here yet. The new All Quiet on the Western Front movie on Netflix is very good. Its long (2h 23 min) so breaking it up into 3 or 4 "episodes" isn't a bad idea. Recommended.
Also, I watched the English version. I usually stick with the original language and read subtitles but they did a good job with the English version.
