Is anyone else on here in trouble for "not paying attention" to their spouse as of late? TBH, I'm not the best listener, and have been known on occasion to miss something he has said, but it blew up this past Saturday when my husband decided after a day of BBQing and hanging out with his friends, to tell me a freaking story in the middle of the opening drive of the Arkansas game. I nodded and "uh-huhed" to him in the middle of celebratory outbursts as Mahomes led the good guys efficiently and effectively down the field, but he stormed off after accusing me of "being on rivals all day and not paying attention to him." We are ok now, but boy was it tense for a couple of days. We got together in 2009, so to be fair, he has never seen my fanatical behavior during a really exciting season, or the brink of a potential one either. If we win 1 of the next 2...I can't even.
Anyone else facing similar problems? For me personally, the temporary martial strife will be worth it if it means a plus 8-9 win season.
