A friend asked me to build a simple, functional website for his business, which I did on WordPress. He already owned the domain through network solutions, so we opted to host there as well.
I'll start by saying that their support has been less than impressive. I had to call and/or chat every day for a week for them to figure out why our SSL wasn't issued even though it said validation was complete.
Now my issue is that the client has trouble accessing the page he had me build. If he types the full URL including https and www, it works. If he leaves off https it gives him an IIS7 page. If he leaves off www it sends him to an unrelated site for a boat storage company. I can not replicate these issues on my home computer, work computer, or cell phone, and I haven't found anyone else who can either.
I contacted his IT person who believes it is an issue with network solutions. It may be, but it's only happening in his office that I can tell. I need to fix this in case potential customers have it too.
Anyone know a common reason for this issue? I am pretty new to this, and have only done a couple of sites on bluehost where we had no such issues. Thanks in advance.
