The NCAA track championships begin today through Saturday at Hayward Field in Euguene. Figure this could be a running thread. (Track, running, I crack myself up sometimes).
Anyway, men's semifinals in running events are set for today with the exception of the 10,000, which is a final. Five field event finals are today. Running events begin at 6:30 p.m. central time.
Women follow same schedule on Thursday, with men's finals on Friday and women on Saturday. Men's running finals begin at 7:20 on Friday with women at 4:30 on Saturday. All of it televised on ESPN2 and ESPN. Early field events are probably on ESPN+.
Tech men could finish in top 5, and women in top 8. Several athletes have good chances for a top three finish, if not a national title.
