NO. 2 BIG 12 PROSPECT: JARRETT CULVER, TEXAS TECH

Position: Shooting guard
Height: 6-5
Age (per ESPN): 19.5
Year: Sophomore
Projection (per ESPN): No. 22 overall
Among the top returning players in the Big 12, Jarrett Culver had several strong scoring performances last season, including four 20-point outings (three against conference opponents) and an 18-point game against then-No. 8 Kansas in the Jayhawks' narrow win in Lubbock.
Playing only 26.4 minutes per game, Culver flashed the ability as a solid outside shooter and rebounder for a Red Raiders team that overachieved its preseason expectations and even went on an Elite Eight run
Culver, a three-star prospect out of high school, should see an even-more-prominent on-court role in 2018-19, too, following the departure of Zhaire Smith.
