1. Most importantly, we have improved from last year. This is not a great team, but it is a good team.

2. I don't blame Gibbs for Baylor, there is nothing we could of done. They were too fast. They could of run for 600 or passed for 600 if they wanted to. You have to be able to stop one of those things against Baylor and we could not come close.

3. Watching the difference in talent at WR the last couple of games have really made me appreciate Kingsbury as a play caller. We have some good role players at wr but still no "dudes", yet we are still able to score in bunches. Pat and Kingsbury deserve a lot of credit here. We desperately need a tall go to guy and a dependable burner. Jakeem is one of my favorite All-Time Red Raiders but he should be a #3, not a #1. Tony Brown was open a lot and looked really good. He was the only WR that stood out to me.

4. I still have faith in our O-line. They have played good all year. Billings is the 2nd most disruptive DT I've seen in person.

5. Pat is going to be special, but this past game was the first time I've watched him live. He needs to improve on his post snap reads. He looks at his first guy and if he is not open, he runs around and looks for somebody to break away deep. That is part of what makes him special, but I just don't know if it will always work, unless we can find a Mike Evans type wideout. Everything else about his game I love and he is still young.

6. DB and DL scare me going forward. Though, that seems to be the case every year since 2000.

7. I'm very impressed with Briles' system and talent at the skill positions. The offense is basically the same he has run since HS, just with different formations. Power run based and audibles to the deep ball. All of the QB's reads are pre-snap. I completely understand why their QBs don't have success in the NFL, not that it matters. He has developed the most QB friendly system I have ever seen. Aside from this years LSU team I guess.

8. I know everybody hates Davis, but he was the only QB for either team that threw to his 2nd or 3rd wide receiver within the design of the play. I know he is not as good for our team as Pat, but I have no doubt he would start and dominate for Baylor. He is a lot better than Russel imo. He has a better arm, reads defenses better and is more mobile than most think. Davis needs great weapons to be successful, Pat doesn't. That is the difference between the two. If we had Jace and Ward last year, I don't think Davis ever loses the job.

9. This was the least upset I've ever been after a loss. Partly because it was the second time, aside from OU 08, that I thought we had absolutely no chance after the 2nd drive.

10. We need to get healthy the next two weeks because I really really really really really really want to beat OU.
