This team looked a lot like the most complete Tech team in a decade that was mentioned a few weeks ago.
Duffey, Vasher and Brooks were monsters.
Unsung...the OL and DL. Duffey was rarely pressured and we ran the ball effectively .They won the day.
The DL dominated. We even regularly collapsed the pocket rushing 3. It allowed Brooks to be free to be a nightmare for them. I was worried about Sanders beating us with his legs but he was held in check for 3.75 Quarters.
Tackling was MUCH better. 5 games in and it looks like the OU game was an outlier. I sure hope it was.
The receivers all made plays with the exception of Mannix. Not his best day.
I like our 3 headed running back rotation.
Special teams were a mixed bag. One shanked punt kept that from being flawless.
One missed field goal but Wolfe was great.
Hoping Stringer steps up next week. He has ability and Jeffers bonehead play will give him a shot.
The onside kick hands team needs some work.
This kind of play gives us a chance in every game left.
