Even without athletics, this Spring Texas Tech added a vet school, a dental school, and an institute on mental health to the system. This is HUGE.

Our most excellent law school was just awarded, what looks to me like, the equivalent of the Directors Cup for law school competitions.

And we did some stuff in sports this Spring too.:D

Can there be any doubt that this has been Tech best Spring ever?

If you watch the BOR meetings like I do, you can see the reasons for a lot of this recent success. IMO, Tech has some of their all time best leaders in place across the board. Dr Mitchell, Dr Lange, Dr. Schovanec, Kirby and, yes, his staff including Gio, are probably about as good an overall group of leaders as Tech has ever had in her history. If you aren't familiar with these gentlemen, you should check out their bios. Each one has a very impressive resume and each one looks to me, watching from afar, like they are in it for the long haul. I sure hope so. There can be no doubt that this university is headed in the right direction and these are the guys steering the ship right now.

Plus, when you factor in that we don't have the large donor base that many schools have, it makes what people like Terry Fuller do so much more important. Thank you Terry and all of you that have given back to Texas Tech.

Sorry for the semi-coherent ramblings but I really excited about what's ahead for my school.
