If these standings hold, Rangers play winner of Orioles v Blue Jays (deep breath fellow Ranger fans), and Indians play Red Sox. I can see the Yankees making a push and overtaking one of those WC teams though. Orioles have been shaky all year and Toronto is 3-7 in their last 10. I think Mariners and Astros are gonna knock each other out of the WC race since they play 6 times I think in the last few weeks. As a Ranger fan, the team that scares me most is Boston. Obviously Toronto scares me, but that's mostly because of how awful it would be if we lost to them again. I want zero part of having to deal with that Red Sox lineup, especially Ortiz in October. Cleveland definitely has best rotation and a dangerous lineup but Salazar just got hurt and is out for 3-4 weeks, plus Rangers have played them pretty well all season.

Cubs would play winner of Giants and Mets, but Cards are only a half game back of the 2nd WC. I think either Mets or Cards advance to play Cubs since SF has been atrocious during the 2nd half. If it's the Mets then the Cubs might have some issues since they've had trouble with the Mets this season. Then Dodgers and Nats would play each other and I see the Dodgers taking that series. Cubs vs Dodgers would be a great NLCS IMO. Any fans of NL teams have opinions on this?
