Promotion of MLB All Star voting is out of control.
I want to simply go to a team's site and watch highlight videos or look up information or see when the next game starts. But I have to navigate through a bazillion pop-ups, advertisements, drop downs, floating pictures, buttons and other stuff all about voting for all stars. It takes so long for that junk to load, and the screen items are jumping around, that I click on something other than what I was aiming at and end up on a webpage I don't want. Plus several of the players they are promoting for me to vote on had a cup of coffee in the majors and then got injured or were awful and haven't played for that team for a month.
It has me looking for alternatives for the stuff I go to the team site to see or just giving up on following a team close enough to care to look at their site anymore.
What gives? Why do they promote voting for all-stars so much?
