I was reading that Seattle businesses have began increasing rates to accommodate the increasing minimum wage pay. In some instances, the increases have been well into double digits (20%+). I'd like to know how someone living on a fixed income such as SS Disability, VA Disability, Social Security Retirement or any of the other fixed income programs are being affected by the higher costs of living?
