Nice article in the Midland Reporter-Telegram today.

It begins:
Hunter Redman knew in his heart that the Texas Tech baseball team would be back in the College World Series.
Redman, along with fellow Midland Christian grad Bryant Burleson, were key in helping the Red Raiders reach their first CWS in 2014. Redman was the starting catcher, while Burleson was the starting second baseman. Both were juniors at the time.
While Texas Tech went two and out that season, Redman had no doubt that the program would be back in Omaha, Nebraska, sooner rather than later.
“I remember telling everybody that we were about to be regular contenders for the College World Series and everybody told me I was stupid,” Redman said.
For the second time in the last three years, Texas Tech (46-18) will be making an appearance in the College World Series at 2 p.m. today when it faces Big 12 foe TCU (47-16) at TD Ameritrade Park. The game will be shown on ESPNU.
There is no doubt that two of the Red Raiders’ biggest fans in Redman and Burleson will be cheering from afar.
