They couldn't find time to pay this guy, but they found time to pass a bill to shorten the length of time it takes to execute someone. I guess they figure they wont have to pay innocent people if they can kill them off before their innocence is proven.
This guy spent 30 years in jail for a murder he did not commit. How people can believe innocent people have not been executed is beyond me. Even worse, some don't care if innocent people are killed. To them it is just a cost of doing business.
