For small business. I have employees in their 40's and 50's and the options left us is either going to cost me out the wazoo or cost them out the wazoo .There is nothing in between. Pretty much everything that was promised about this POS legislation was a lie. . I have one employee that has had heart issues in the past. Leaving it as a PPO that will include his heart doctor means his insurance alone is around 1000.00 a month. Any HMO available means he will have to change docs. [ werent we supposed to be able to keep our doctor?] The entire group has gone up tremendously and has become just too much.
The only option that actually SAVES me money is a terrible hmo that will not pay a single red cent until the deductible of 6450.00 has been met. really it is only a policy that could prevent bankruptcy in extreme situations.
