I’m genuinely curious, not trying to call out anybody. I see many pro-life Lubbockites and churches advocating for “Vote For Life.”
Are Lubbock’s philanthropists, church-goers, tithers, and the rest of the pro-life middle & upper class going to put their money where their mouth/vote is? Is there a collection of churches/charities/donors coming together to help out the 1/4 of LBK children that live in poverty, single mothers, placing adoptions, etc?
im pro-life and pro-human fluorishing, but wouldn’t all this money, time, and effort be better spent setting up radically generous programs helping single mothers, adoption agencies, childhood/family poverty, the foster system, etc, so no one ever feels cornered into having an abortion? I believe that would save more lives from abortion than just a ban.
basically I’m genuinely wondering from afar, is this a real, amazing movement, or is this all just partisan pontificating with no actual loving thy neighbor behind it?
