What time of year is preferred for putting down fescue sod? We have been nursing my recently deceased MIL lawn in Brownfield. We have seeded it and it just doesn't want to grow in well. Doesn't help that we live 350 miles away, down here in St Augustine/bermuda country. I'd like to get it done soon, but don't want to set it out at the wrong time of the year. We do have an irrigation system, although as wet as it is, we haven't used it much so far this summer. TIA.
