Maybe part of it is a numbers game considering we have only signed two LBs in the last two classes, 3 if you count Mitchell but this is shaping up to the best LB class in recent memory. Really love the 3 guys we have right now and if you add Terry it makes it a no brainer.
I doubt that this particular recruiting class is deeper in Texas than the average year but like many of you I am really liking who we are offering for the most part. We always slow play D1 level prospect trying to get blue chips then scramble trying to fill the class and flip them. I expect a lot of these guys to blow up because from a film perspective they have all been very impressive.
I've liked who we have added at DB the last few classes but this class is shaping up to very solid in the front 7. If we close out with a couple 4 stars guys the rest of the way it has a chance to be great on paper as well as on the field.
