A student made a joke in poor taste about George Floyd and now the football and women’s basketball teams are boycotting the season. Are you serious.
Kid is receiving death threats but is standing by it and not backing down. You can’t take his right to free speech away and is one bad joke worth all of this sensitivity? I’m sure KSU will try to expel him but not sure they can do that legally. At some point, this is going to flip the other direction, you can’t hold organizations hostage because you got your feelings hurt by a random kid on Twitter. Crossing my fingers this kind of situation doesn’t pop up here.
