In bringing back our identity, culture and atmosphere. Do you guys remember being in the stadium while Tuberville was here? It was down right depressing and felt nothing like the program that I love so much and grew up with. The stadium was quiet and boos rang out regularly.
The raider power chant almost became extinct. Fans were pissed off and we all told everyone around us in our sections how pissed we were. I always left the stadium depressed, sometimes even after a win because something just didn't feel right. Tubs would punt on 4th and 1 from our own 45 and the stadium would erupt in anger. It sucked and that was a sad time.
I have a lot of expectations and big dreams for this team and especially next years team. I have big belief in Kliff and Coach Gibbs to elevate this program to places we've rarely been. But the one thing I want for certain is to enjoy the process no matter the outcome and not take for granted the fact that it feels like Tech football again. The stadium is rockin', we are playing with moxie and attitude, we have our identity back and I'm proud of our brand. Long story short, I'm grateful for Kliff and what he's already done here. Nah mean??
Enjoy the ride, friends. I'm proud to ride with all of you!
