So I took today off, and all that is on the news today is that silly Kentucky Clerk going back to work and everyone wondering if she is going to do her job or not.
I understand her position (don't agree with it, but understand it), but if she were really all that noble it seems that she would resign and find a job that her "conscience" will allow her to do instead of getting attention for herself by breaking the law. It's like she wants her cake and to eat it too which is annoying.
She had an interview this morning crying talking about having to choose between her conscience and doing a job. If she really feels that strongly then she needs to resign and quit whining. It would be like me saying it's against my religion to sell to Muslim owned companies (which I have to do in my job) yet demanding the company keep me on payroll even though I can't do the job.
It isn't religious liberty to force your religious belief on the people you were elected to serve, and this lady needs to just either shut up and do her job or resign and go do something else.
