Looking for a Kayak rec.
Twins just turned 3 and want to start getting them out on the water. They aren’t going to be contributing to paddling in any significant capacity anytime soon so getting a true tandem seems like overkill to me.
So my question is do I get a smaller tandem with adjustable seats that can convert to a single seat and just sit a kid in the front? That I can then keep and let them grow into as they get older. Or do I get a large 1 seater that will fit a kid in with me? And then just get a junior kayak when they’re big enough to paddle themselves and just have multiple kayaks.
Do y’all have specific kayak that’s worked well for yall?
