Anyone ever been to, or even heard of, Kavala, Greece?
Going on a cruise in 2 months and randomly they just added this point to our itinerary. I’m early into my process of researching this port, but not finding much on it.
So far the only thing I’ve really been able to find is that the Apostle Paul was imprisoned here. In the Biblical Times Kavala was called Neopolis.
EDIT: Sorry, Paul was actually imprisoned in near by Philippi, not Kavala.
