I had the misfortune of seeing part of "The View" this morning and Kathy Griffin was on. I had to SMH in disbelief at her obvious attempt at trying to resurrect her career by discussing saying she developed a drug addiction and had a suicide attempt because of President Trump's mean tweet after she made the picture holding his severed head. (His mean tweet said "You should be ashamed of yourself. My 10 year old son saw it!".
Most of you know I'm not much of a Trump fan. But just the way she spoke made it obvious she's trying to fix her career by making herself into a victim and hoping everyone will feel sorry for her. Drug addiction and suicide are very serious things, but the way she discussed them certainly didn't sound like she took them seriously. She was trying like crazy to paint herself as a victim yet came off as completely unlikable. Everything was all about her her her and not once did she take responsibility for what she did that caused her to be blacklisted in the first place. She's every bit as narcissistic as Trump is, and as a comic who has made her career off saying nasty things about people she comes off as a complete fraud when she can't take what she dishes out.
People like her are disgusting; they are the reason so many actual victims of things like addiction and suicide aren't taken seriously. Totally disgusting.
