*Well how bout that? Tech went into Fayetteville, never trailed, and came out with an SEC road win. That's a tone setter for the rest of this season for the Red Raiders, IMO.
*Speaking of never trailing, the Red Raiders didn't punt tonight, either. The offense really wasn't ever even slowed down other than on the two arm punt INT's by Mahomes.
*Also, give some credit to the Texas Tech defense. Game clinching turnover, and they only allowed 3 points to the Hogs in the second half. That's what you call improvement.
*Oh, and only 228 rushing yards for the Hogs. Tech may have let them move the ball most of the night, but that's some improvement than last year.
*I don't even need to speak about how well Mahomes played. 26-30 tonight, only 1 incompletion after halftime. Stones.
*You have to feel good for Reg Davis tonight, too. After being questioned all last season and to start this season, he had 117 yards and two TDs on five catches tonight. Great game, and good for him.
*Again, what a win. That sets the tone for next weekend and Big 12 play for the Red Raiders.
