I was listening to Schlereth and Evans (Mark Schlereth) this morning here in Denver. They had Joel Klatt on as I was driving into work. For those that live in Denver, you probably know the show I'm talking about. They we're talking the Broncos playing the Chiefs this Sunday. Klatt went on to say how awesome Mahomes is playing. He made a specific clarification that you don't really hear people make. He said that KK's and Techs version of the Air Raid is much different that Mike Leach's version. Leach didn't put any QB's in the NFL. Kingsbury's version is much more suited to the NFL and it prepares the QB's much better for the NFL. He said if you look at what Mahomes is doing in KC, it's actually very similar to what he was doing in Tech's offense. He was very complimentary of KK and Tech. Definitely gave me the fuzzy feeling as I was driving into work. Also, for those that have not heard much about Joel Klatt....trust me, you will....the guy is awesome and know's more about college (and pro) football than your average announcer.
