Due to importance of the situation I decided I needed to share the information. The risk is that Jim ends up being wrong and someone might be needlessly concerned. I know he hopes he will be wrong as do I.
I can say this. In following him for many years now and also talking with him by email quite a bit over time, this is the first time he has ever stated that he thinks a specific event is likely to trigger the instability in the financial and monetary system he has been predicting for a long time. To go public with both the specific event and a time frame means he is completely convinced in his analysis on this. He has lowered his odds of war a little from 90% (in August) to 85% (last night), but has told me very clearly he still thinks it will happen. Jim also has contacts in the US Defense Dept. and Intelligence Agencies that help inform his views on things like this. He also has a strong track record for accurately predicting major events like this although he will tell you no one gets everything correct.
Given all that, I felt an obligation to share this information. Again, I hope it turns out to be wrong.
