Jim Dent, great sports author of 12 Mighty Orphans, The Junction Boys etc. and former DFW sports writer was sentenced to 10 years in prison today for his 9th & 10th DUIs. He had jumped bail and was living in Mexico for a year while promoting his latest book. He recently tried to sneak back in the US and was arrested and jailed.
