I cant stop watching this kid's Rivals Spotlight video. The display of football intelligence and pure athleticism for a JR in high school, uber impressive.
He welcomes broken plays and makes defenders pay big time if they miss the tackle. Extremely aware of his surroundings to boot, hes always looking down field and if there is nothing he doesnt panic in the slightest. Just pulls it down, turns up field and gets 20 yards or more. Extremely comfortable in the open field. Plus, kid can place the ball anywhere he wants to and his arm strength is really deceptive. Again, the intelligence for a JR in high school, kid plays like a JR in college.
I really could care less about star rankings, I think Kliff and staff are showing a great ability to evaluate and get the guys they want. But that said, how in the world is Duffey only a two star? Rivals cant blame it on not having film on the guy and it sounds like he is making a name at all these camps. Go figure on the 5.3 ranking. Kid can ball. In all honesty his video is just about as impressive to me as Kyle Murray's was and Kyle Murray was playing with some serious talent around him.
