good morning, @B. Golan and I attended the Rivals Camp in Dallas yesterday at Coppell High School
the camp was well attended and we were able to catch up with a handful of the 2026 commitments, including Pflugerville Weiss offensive lineman Jerald "JJ" Mays
Mays was exceptional yesterday and it was honestly a suprise he was not a camp MVP or finalist, but oh well...he won nearly every rep and took reps at Center, Guard and Tackle
what struck me the most was Mays' personality and ability to become instant friends/bros with the entire OL/DL group that started the morning...it was half personality and half raw talent that others had to respect in the one-on-one sessions
Mays did so well the Rivals National team updated him to a four-star prospect after the camp yesterday...which is nice
