The Red Raiders defend and are the second-best defensive team in the Big 12 behind Texas. Terrence Shannon Jr. and Mac McClung are the top scorers, and Marcus Santos-Silva has been a really nice addition from VCU. Santos-Silva can face up, set ball screens and draw bigger defenders out on the floor. Under Chris Beard, Texas Tech gets better through the season. This team has a chance to be very good by the end of the campaign.
