Such a strange feeling this morning in Raiderland. The well documented turmoils and change that Texas Tech football has gone through in the last 4 years never seemed to phase a group of players that committed to Tech and stuck it out. It seems the only consistent thing you could expect every Saturday was this core group of players. They gave everything they had on Saturday afternoons so over-reactionary fans such as myself could critique them play by play. Today we get to watch one of the most talented, and by the grace of God, consistent and even-keeled group of young men play football at Jones stadium for the last time. If you have the chance, or more appropriately, the means, opportunity, and honor to be at Jones stadium this afternoon at 2:30, do it. I'll be there, in the same seats I've had for 3 years since my graduation, yelling as loud as I have for 20+ years of Tech fandom, with people I've had the pleasure of calling friends for even longer than that. These men have quite literally sacrificed 4 or 5 years of their life to Texas Tech, and I can't put into words the thanks we owe them. For Christ's sake, let's send Demetrius Alston, Sam Atoe, Micah Awe, Brad Pearson, DeAndre Washington, Jared Jared Ŧ Kaster, JJ Gaines, Brandon Jackson, Jakeem Grant, LeRaven Clark, and the rest of this resilient senior class out with a glorious win!

The best and possibly most appropriate phrase that comes to mind when I have to describe this class is;

FIGHT! RAIDERS! FIGHT!

Guns up Tech fans, we are going to sorely miss these seniors.
