The situation is deteriorating so rapidly will Obama be forced to come up with a strategy? He obviously wants to stall and let the next President deal with this (and say he just ended the wars, which is another problem entirely as you don't end wars you WIN THEM) but will he be forced to deal with this?
One attack here will change everything, but I think ISIS will continue to consolidate and eventually attack Bagdad. Listening to the Military or retired Generals today they say our allies are also waiting until Obama is gone as they don't trust us to stay with them an deal with this problem.
SO we are faced with letting this area fall into a true caliphate or begin to rebuild a coalition to deal long term with this. A coalition I think is out of the question with Obama still in office so if it turns out Obama Can't wait because of some attack or even an attack on Bagdad itself in the next 2 years what are his options? Other than wait it out and turn it over to the next President ?
Or is Obama counting on Iran to get the nuke and let them deal with this ?
