Texas Tech: “The visit there went great. It was weird because there is nothing in Lubbock, but it was nice and I really liked it. They bring a lot of unranked guys in like Zhaire Smith and Jarrett Culver but it doesn’t really matter because they have helped them play in games and now are going to be in the league.”
RIVALS' REACTION
Cottrell took official visits to Rutgers and West Virginia in the fall and has also taken unofficial trips to Texas Tech and UNLV in recent months. While he does not have any other visits scheduled, he does have a few in mind.
“I am mostly thinking about the ones that have contacted me a lot like LSU, Washington and Florida, and a couple of others but nothing is set for now,” he said.
The Rivals150 junior is in no rush to make his college decision as there is still some time before leaders might emerge. However, it does look as if UNLV has a lot working in its favor, but it would be difficult to discount Florida, Rutgers, Texas Tech, Washington or West Virginia as well.
