This report or question, is second-hand as it came from my son who borrowed my tickets for Saturday's game. What I was told is about the 4th inning or so, some of the KU fans had moved to or were sitting in some of the reserved seats. The game management staff asked them to move. Again, what I was told, several Tech fans in the area went to bat for them, some offering their seats, etc. I was told there wasn't anybody sitting in the seats to begin with and mind you, this was 4th inning or so.
The worst part, he said later, the basketball coaches and the point guard recruit came into the stadium about the 5th inning. Sat down in the same area, and Johnny Stadium Guard came and promptly removed them. Now, if that is the case, I'm livid. If it is not the case, well my son got the story wrong.
I know the PG committed, but man, if that happened, would that happen at UT? A&M? Really anywhere with some sense? I'm putting this on here, because I want to know if this is indeed how the scenario played out and was hoping some other RRS subscribers were at the scene to validate or set the story aside? Were they moved to a suite perhaps??? IDK and according to the son, he didn't think that was happening.
